You can find more information about each county in the “County” blogs to the left. The entries that are marked with maps that show where the county is located will change over time as I add more history information to those specific entries.

Also, I have added “tags” below each entry. If an entry is connected to a certain county, then a tag will be added so that you can click on it to take you to all entries related to a specific James River county. A list beneath the maps below will take you straight to the history about each county, along with outside links to genealogical and courthouse sites when available.
